Description

Interns are split into four teams; Team 1, Team 2, Team 3, and Team 4. Each team has a set of specific tasks. New interns will be assigned to a team depending on capacity. Interns will rotate between each team according to the rotation period.

The following details are for each, individual intern and not the entire department.

Time Allotment

All teams work for 10 hours per week

 

Team 1

  • 1.5 hours – weekly intern training
  • 1 hour – department meeting
  • 4 hours – attend networking event
  • 2 hour – enter notes into CRM
  • 1 hour – miscellaneous tasks
  • 30 minutes – read and understand company charter

 

Team 2

  • 1.5 hours – weekly intern training
  • 1 hour – department meeting
  • 3 hours – Follow up with prospects on CRM
  • 2 hours – Schedule appointments
  • 1 hour – enter notes into CRM
  • 1 hour – miscellaneous tasks
  • 30 minutes – read and understand company charter

 

Team 3

  • 1.5 hours – weekly intern training
  • 1 hour – department meeting
  • 5 hours – survey Prospects
  • 1 hour – enter notes into CRM
  • 1 hour – miscellaneous tasks
  • 30 minutes – read and understand company charter

 

Team 4

  • 1.5 hours – weekly intern training
  • 1 hour – department meeting
  • 4 hours – Analyze prospects and decide whether they are qualified for online seminars
  • 1 hour – Send qualified prospects’ information to to Sales Department
  • 1 hour – enter notes into CRM
  • 1 hour – miscellaneous tasks
  • 30 minutes – read and understand company charter

 

Expected Outcomes

Team 1

  • Introduce RSCBGA to business owners at networking event
  • Tell business owners about 2 online seminars offered by RSCBGA on starting businesses and increasing revenue
  • Collect business cards
  • Learn about the prospects’ businesses

 

Team 2

  • Follow up with new prospects on CRM within 72 hours
  • Follow up with new prospects who did not respond within a week
  • Schedule appointments with prospects for survey

 

Team 3

  • Find out needs and wants of prospects
  • Find out the budget of those interested in our services

 

Team 4

  • Sort prospects into appropriate category:
    • Interested in our services but can’t afford.
    • Interested in our services & can afford
    • Want a product or service we don’t offer
    • Want to refer business to each other
    • Want to collaborate on a project
    • Want free information

 

Expected Results

Team 1

  • 8 new prospects know about RSCBGA
  • 4 new prospects know about online seminars offered by RSCBGA

 

Team 2

  • 8 new prospects followed up with
  • 3 appointments scheduled for survey

 

Team 3

  • 3 new information found on needs and wants of prospects
  • Know budget of interested business owners

 

Team 4

  • 2 new prospects’ information sent to the sales department
  • 8 new prospects sorted into appropriate categories

 

Responsibilities

Team 1

  • Attend networking events
  • Introduce people to RSCBGA and its products and services
  • Gather prospects business cards/ information
  • Learn how to use CRM

 

Team 2

  • Find out if prospects or anyone they know would be interested in RSCBGA’s services and products
  • Schedule appointments with prospects for conducting surveys
  • Learn how to use CRM

 

Team 3

  • Attend meeting with prospects to survey them
  • Find out prospects’ needs and wants
  • Find out interested prospects’ budgets
  • Learn how to use CRM

 

Team 4

  • Determine which categories to put prospects in
  • Send qualified prospects information to Sales Department
  • Learn how to use CRM

Compensation

This position is unpaid. It is possible to earn a commission when any product or service is sold to a prospect that you helped to generate. If you worked with other people to market to that prospect, the commission is split with those team members.
